Dr Rutherford's latest work focuses on the relationship between science and race, Francis Galton, Karl Pearson and Eugenics. Drawing from his extensive knowledge on Genetics and Evolutionary Theory, his book overturns outdated ideas and misconceptions regarding race and genetics. He argues that science and history can be effectively deployed against bigotry and pseudoscience. He will be speaking to us about his latest book entitled How to Argue with a Racist: History, Science, Race and Reality.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
