Top Jazz musicians return to Birmingham for a one off, not to be missed gig, with the legendary John Altman this Saturday (1st August). Joining them on stage are Britain’s Got Talent 2015 Finalists The Neales and members of The People’s Orchestra.
Johns band including Mitch Dalton - Britain's top session guitarist (worked with Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Robbie Williams, Henry Mancini, Strictly, and many more), Andy Cleyndert - GB's number 1 jazz bassist and Peter Cater - leader of one of the country's top big bands have come together to support a charity event in aid of local musicians.
They will be performing a selection of music from John Altman’s Star Studded career, including an original Samba arrangement of Bright Side of Life and his own arrangement of 'That Ole Devil Called Love.'
Internationally renowned composer and saxophonist John Altman is famed for working with international artists such as Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson will be performing with his own big band for a unique intimate concert. Swing to the sounds of this incredible evening with one of the world's most prolific saxophonists.
